Do you make self-care a priority? This is a topic I will be revisiting from time to time as I believe it is imperative to truly leading a full life. I haven't always felt that way though. I am a stereotypical woman in the since that I have an uncanny habit of putting everything and everyone else's priorities before my own. Leading a life like that can be debilitating to your health, creativity, and eventually those who you care for most. Whether it's an hour a day or you just have 5 minutes, carve out intentional moments for yourself, for coming back to center, and for healing.

One of my most recent self-care indulgences is listening to Black Girl In Om's weekly podcast. BGIO is a beautifully curated platform created by Lauren Ash that promotes holistic wellness and inner beauty for women of color. From its podcast, to its online publication to its curated social spaces (online and in person), it's hard to be anything less than inspired by the stories and tools that are shared here.
