Can I purchase individual products for delivery?

At current, no. We are in the process of developing our new web store and Subscription service which will allow you to package and order the foods YOU want at the click of a button. CONTACT US to join the BETA Pre-Launch program to help us work out the kinks! Mon- Thursday deliveries only!

How do I begin a RAW! Cleanse or Plan?

Submit a RAW! Cleanse Request Form to orders@rawonwheels.com at least 72 hours before your anticipated start date. You are not solidified until a RAW! team member approves your request and notifies you via email. Our new web store launches in May 2016 which will simplify this process.

How soon can I begin a Cleanse or Plan?

This depends on a couple of factors such as when you submitted your Cleanse Request Form and whether or not you have properly prepared your body. All cleanses/plans begin on Mondays and Wednesdays and require at least 72 hours advance notice. Cleanse Requests are processed on a first come, first serve basis. 

How do I prepare my body for detox?

To properly ensure the safety of your body and the effectiveness of your cleansing experience, you must prepare your body 72 hours in advance by abstaining from flesh, dairy, alcohol, nicotine, processed foods, white food products, and baked goods. By following this protocol, your body will be more than ready to receive the abundance of nutrients to come.

How do I pay?

You will be invoiced via Square for payment. Your space is not secure until your balance is paid.

I want RAW! to cater my next event. How do I go about this?

Email us today at catering@rawexclamation.com or simply reach us via our Contact page to tell us more about your event. We'll send over a series of questions that will allow us to design a package tailored for your needs.

Delivery Questions

Do you have a walk-in facility?

We are solely a delivery service and do NOT have a walk-in facility for you to visit. We operate using shared kitchen space rather than a restaurant or retail establishment at this time.

Do you deliver to my area?

We are a DC Metropolitan based business. At current, we service a 30 mile radius from Springfield, VA.  This includes Prince William, Fairfax, Alexandria, Arlington, Prince George, All of Washington, DC and select areas of Montgomery County. Please Contact Us to find out if your address is in range.

How much is the delivery fee for my order?

We go by the standard IRS rate of $0.575 a mile. 

What time will my delivery arrive?

AM deliveries will arrive between 4:30am - 10:00am on Monday and/or Wednesday. PM deliveries will arrive between 3:30pm - 6:30pm on Sunday and Tuesday. Your delivery time frame will be listed on your Juice Profile and Invoice.

What should I do with my food and juice upon delivery?

Unpack all of your RAW! plant-based goods and place them in refrigeration. Our foods are LIVING and must remain refrigerated until consumption.

What about my empty juice jars?

If there is second or third delivery during your plan, please leave your empty and rinsed jars for your delivery driver. If you have empty jars at the close of your cleanse, you may return 12 and receive a FREE JUICE! And of course, feel free to reuse, re-purpose, and recycle!!

Our Foods & Practices

What are raw foods?

Raw, live plant-based foods consist of unheated, unprocessed, and unmodified fruits, veggies, herbs, fungi (mushrooms), sprouts, fermented foods, juices, nuts, and seeds. 

RAW! operates based on the principle that food should be organic, from the earth, unprocessed, uncooked, and non-GMO. By uncooked we mean that no foods are heated above 118°F, therefore leaving all enzymes and nutrients intact - keeping the food ALIVE! The enzymes as well as moisture in RAW-living foods are compatible with our digestive system and play a primary role in the body’s ability to repair damaged cells.

How are your juices processed?

All RAW! Juices are cold-pressed and made to order. All juices are stored in 17 oz glass jars to maintain juice quality and freshness.

How long will my juices last?

Refrigerated & unopened, your juices will remain fresh for up to 5 Days. Once opened, we recommend consuming within 24 hours.

Are your juices and meals organic?

Yes! We make sure to use the finest 100% organic ingredients as well as local when available. 

Are your meals soy-free?

No Soy here! All RAW! Foods are made free of soy, tofu, and soy derivatives such as miso, nama shoyu, liquid aminos, soy milk, or lecithin. 

Are your meals gluten-free?

All RAW! Meals are 100% Gluten Free!

I have an allergy to certain foods, what options are there?

At RAW! we avoid ALL of the major food allergens such as milk, eggs, nuts, soy, wheat (and all gluten products), fish, and shellfish. We even avoid processed, mysterious, and highly genetically modified foods like Agave, Nutritional Yeast, and Corn.

If you have additional allergy concerns, be sure to include them in your RAW! Cleanse Request Form. We will do our best to provide you with options fit for your dietary needs. Customization fees may apply

Am I receiving enough protein?

There is a common misconception that herbivores don't get all of their nutrients [such as protein] due to lack of meat consumption. Unknown to many, protein is found in almost EVERY fruit and vegetable. Sprouts such as quinoa, alfalfa, lentils, and mung are all healthy (and tasty) sources of protein. Hemp, chia seeds, and a number of superfoods are power proteins that contain all 20 amino acids so we incorporate them in our foods as much as possible. Nuts are also valuable sources of plant protein but are often over consumed and highly allergic so we choose not to use them in our products.

What does the menu look like?

Our menu changes monthly and seasonally in order to keep things FRESH and balanced. Your plan will be comprised of the options currently available and is always subject to change. You will receive your food and/or juice schedule prior to your cleanse start date that will detail the options you are to receive.

How many calories are your meals?

One of our goals at RAW! is to get you out of the mindset of calorie counting and into the mindset of “what is healthy for me?” If your focus is on eating clean, healthy plant-based meals, you will notice that you feel completely satisfied after a meal and that your body weight will return to a weight that is good for you. This may mean losing some weight, staying the same weight or in some cases gaining weight.

Are you a green business?

In our efforts to be as sustainable as a food service can be, we have minimized our paper usage with the creation of e-handbooks and digital meal/juice schedules. Only print it if you need it! 

All food is packaged in biodegradable PLA packaging and our kale chips stay fresh in food grade kraft bags.

Juices are packaged in 17 oz. glass jars and should be returned each drop off day. They will then be sterilized for reuse. Leftover jars from your last day of service may be returned to us next time for a discounted rate. Feel free to use them for juicing until
then!
